The Opportunity
We are hiring an Expert (m/w/d) Venture Success & Ecosystem to drive the Scale phase. Your job: coordinate and create the support structures, scaling formats, and ecosystem networks that help high-potential AI ventures transition from early breakthroughs into category-defining, globally competitive companies - across key hubs and partner institutions in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, and Switzerland.
Concretely, you build the formats and networks that:
  • Connect startups, investors, SMEs, and enterprise corporates to unlock rapid commercial adoption, strategic pilot projects, and tangible venture value.
  • Empower founders with formats and concepts for scaling support, executive mentorship, and international growth to build relevant and international companies.

Your mission

  • Map and Analyze the AI Startup Landscape: Continuously analyze and track the AI startup landscape across Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, and Switzerland - covering both Application AI and Frontier / Deep Tech AI ventures.

  • Orchestrate Regional Hub Collaboration: Foster, align, and drive strategic collaboration among key entrepreneurship hubs, university centers, and ecosystem partners across all three regions.

  • Mobilize an Elite Founder Network: Build and cultivate a high-caliber network of experienced tech and AI founders who want to mentor, advise, and support the next generation of founders.

  • Connect Startups/Scaleups, Capital & Enterprise: Build a thriving network connecting startups, VC investors, SMEs, and enterprise corporates to unlock commercial value, co-innovation, and growth capital.

  • Design Scaling Formats: Conceptualize specialized programs, scaling masterclasses, and internationalization formats that support startups to scale into globally relevant companies.

Your profile

  • You are an experienced manager who has personally founded, co-founded, or held a senior leadership role in a high growth / scaleup venture and successfully driven its growth trajectory.

  • You bring a comprehensive, active network among technology/AI startups, growth VC funds, and corporate innovation leaders across the region and beyond.

  • You have the standing and empathy to build trust with top founders, serving as a respected peer and sounding board on critical strategic, commercial, and fundraising decisions.

  • You turn complex regional ecosystems into aligned, high-value networks that translate research breakthroughs into commercial market leadership.

  • Languages: fluent German and English, written and spoken.
