Funding for Innovators is the venture capital fund of UnternehmerTUM, backing exceptional early-stage B2B founders who are building the companies of tomorrow. Based in Munich, we invest at the pre-seed stage, providing founder-friendly equity investments that help startups accelerate their growth.
We also offer prototyping grants that empower young teams to turn ambitious ideas into tangible products.

Your mission

As a Visiting Investment Analyst, you will be integral to our investment process. Your core responsibilities will include:

Sourcing & Diligence: Identify and evaluate promising deep tech startups for pre-seed investment.
Process Automation: Implement AI-driven workflows to optimize our deal pipeline and maintain our internal systems (Salesforce, Notion).
Program Management: Coordinate our Prototyping Grants program for early-stage founders.
Investment Analysis: Prepare investment presentations based on your due diligence.
Representation: Represent the fund at industry events to source new opportunities.

Your profile

Academic Background: Enrollment in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science), ideally complemented by business expertise.
Relevant Experience: A demonstrated interestor initial experience in venture capital, startups,or deep tech innovation.
Core Attributes: A genuine passion for cutting-edge technologies, a proactive mindset with strong decision-making skills, and excellent communication abilities in English.
